Listing your business

Any woman-owned or woman-led business based in Melbourne. You don't need to be a member of the GMABS Facebook group — but we do love it when you are! Your business will go through a quick approval process before it goes live.

Once you sign up and complete checkout, your listing is submitted for review. Our admin team checks it within 24–48 hours. You'll receive an email once it's approved and live on the directory. If we need anything from you, we'll reach out directly.

Yes, absolutely. Log into your dashboard and head to Edit listing anytime. You can update your business details, photos, social media links, categories, and more. Changes go live immediately — no re-approval needed for edits.

Go to Dashboard → Photos. You can upload JPG, PNG, or WebP images up to 10MB each. The first photo becomes your hero image. Basic members can upload 1 photo, Premium up to 5, and Elite members have unlimited uploads.

Yes! Go to Dashboard → Edit listing and scroll down to the Social media section. Enter your handles or paste your full profile links — we'll clean them up automatically. These appear as clickable buttons on your public listing.

You can enter your ABN during signup but it's not compulsory. If you're GST registered, you can indicate that too — this helps build trust with customers looking for tax invoices.

Yes! Each listing requires its own subscription. Contact us at gmabsmelbourne@gmail.com if you'd like to discuss a multi-listing arrangement.

The ★ Elite Verified badge is available to Elite plan members. It signals to shoppers that your business has been personally verified by the GMABS team — a trusted, community-backed stamp of quality. You can enable it from your dashboard once you're on Elite.

This usually means your listing is either still awaiting approval, or your subscription has lapsed. Log into your dashboard and check the Subscription & billing tab. If you think something isn't right, email us and we'll sort it out quickly.

Plans & billing

Yes! Every new listing comes with a 14-day free trial. You'll need to enter your card details at checkout, but you won't be charged until day 14. Cancel anytime before that and you won't pay a thing.

Basic ($4.95/month) — Standard listing, 1 photo, searchable in the directory.

Premium ($14.95/month) — Up to 5 photos, secondary categories, insights & analytics, review management.

Elite ($29.95/month) — Unlimited photos, messaging inbox, advanced analytics, custom branding, Elite Verified badge, featured placement, and jobs posting.

All plans come with a 14-day free trial and can be billed monthly or yearly (save 20% when you pay yearly).

Yes — choose yearly at checkout and save compared to paying month to month. You can also switch between billing cycles from your dashboard under Subscription & billing.

During checkout on the Stripe payment page, you'll see a field to enter a promo code. Type your code there and it'll be applied before you confirm. The discount will show before any payment is taken.

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your Subscription & billing tab. Once cancelled, your listing stays live for the remainder of your paid period, then enters a 30-day grace period before anything is permanently deleted. Your data is safe the whole time.

After 30 days your listing, photos, reviews, and business data are permanently deleted from the directory. If you'd like to come back, you'd need to sign up fresh. We'll send you reminder emails before anything is removed.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe. All payments are processed securely — we never store your card details.

Yes. A receipt is automatically emailed to you after every payment. If you need a formal tax invoice or have GST questions, email us at gmabsmelbourne@gmail.com.

Your dashboard

Go to gmabsbusinessdirectory.com.au/signin.html and sign in with the email and password you used when signing up. Once logged in you'll land on your dashboard automatically.

Try a hard refresh (hold Shift and press reload on your browser). If the problem persists, sign out and sign back in. This usually happens when your session takes a moment to connect. If it keeps happening, contact us and we'll take a look.

Go to Dashboard → Edit listing and scroll to the Location section. You'll find the suburb field there. Save when done — your listing will update immediately.

There are a few possible reasons: your listing may still be awaiting approval, your subscription may have lapsed, or your listing status may be inactive. Check your dashboard — if everything looks fine and you're still not showing up, email us and we'll investigate.

Elite members have access to an Enquiries inbox in their dashboard. When a community member sends you a message from your listing, it appears there. You can reply directly — the customer receives your reply via email.

My messages shows conversations you've started — for example, if you messaged another business in the directory. Enquiries received is your customer inbox — it's where messages from community members who found your listing and reached out to you will appear.

Premium and Elite members can respond to reviews from the Reviews tab in their dashboard. Your reply appears publicly under the review on your listing, so the whole community can see you're engaged and responsive.

On the sign in page, click Forgot password and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

For community members

Absolutely — browsing is completely free, forever. No account needed to search and discover businesses.

Use the search bar on the homepage or directory to search by name, keyword, category (e.g. Beauty & Wellness), or suburb. You can combine filters to narrow down exactly what you need.

Every listing is reviewed and approved by our admin team before it goes live. Elite members can also earn the ★ Elite Verified badge, which means we've done an extra layer of vetting. Look for that badge when you want extra peace of mind.

Open any business listing and scroll down to the Reviews section. We love honest, word-of-mouth style reviews!

Click the heart icon on any listing card or business page to save your favourites.

Each listing shows the business's contact details — phone, website, and social media links where provided. Elite businesses also have a direct messaging feature, so you can send them a message right from their listing.

Not at all — the directory is open to everyone. That said, the GMABS Facebook group is a wonderful community of Melbourne women supporting each other, and we'd love for you to join! Search Greek Mums & Bubs Melbourne on Facebook.

General

GMABS Business Directory is Melbourne's home for women-owned and women-led businesses. It grew out of the Greek Mums & Bubs Melbourne Facebook community — a group of 9,500+ mums who've been recommending and supporting each other's businesses for over a decade. Now that spirit of "word of mouth" has its own home online.

Our primary focus is Melbourne-based businesses, but we do welcome online-only businesses run by Melbourne women. If your business is fully online with no local address, you can tick the "Online only" option during signup.

We're launching publicly at the end of June 2026! Right now we're in a private beta with our founding members. If you're seeing this, you're one of the first — welcome aboard.

Each listing has a report button. Our admin team reviews all reports promptly. You can also email us directly at gmabsmelbourne@gmail.com if something needs urgent attention.
